40th Anniversary Celebration Upcoming Events
GMFA is proud of its involvement in our community. Official records indicate that our corporation was formed 40 years ago this year. We have been around much longer but 40th has a nice ring to it!
Golf Tournament
Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament fast approaches. It is being held May 15th at Brookfield Golf and Country Club in Cambridge. The party starts with a tailgate party at 10:00 with a shotgun start at 11:30. The day will wrap up with raffles, draws and a steak dinner. As those that were there can tell you… it’s a great time for a great cause. Its earlier this year to kick off the season with party!

Spaghetti Dinner
You are invited to join Guelph Minor Football at a Spaghetti social and Euchre Tournament at the Brookfield\Beaverdale golf club on March 20th. The cost for the dinner is $10 per person or $30 per family (2 adults & up to 4 children under 12). The Euchre tournament will start after the dinner. Cost to enter is $10 a person. GMFA Registration at Stone Road Mall
We will be at Stone Road Mall this Saturday March 6th from 10am to 3pm accepting registration for all GMFA programs. You can always register online. We now take Master card and Visa.

Six a Side Football
GMFA is starting a new Spring tackle football program. Six a Side football is full equipment tackle football played on a field 100 yards long and 40 yards wide with each team fielding six players. Teams will be comprised of 8 to 12 players. The season runs from the first Wednesday in May to the last Saturday in June. For more information on the game please visit the Football Canada site.

The Ontario Football Alliance is hosting an NCCP coach’s clinic March 26th 27th and 28th at the Flower City Recreation Center in Brampton. For more detail please visit our website.
Team Ontario West Try Outs
Team Ontario is holding more team tryouts in April. The cost is $20 if pre-registered and $30 at the door. More information can be found at the OFA website.
Junior Player Development Camp
Just a reminder that the next and last camp day is March 13th. Please remember to bring all the gear you have been issued… the jerseys are yours to keep. Please arrive between 1pm and 1:15pm.
